How do I set a preferred conferencing provider?

Connect Zoom and/or GMeet to Xembly and set one as your default in your Xembly Web App or Extension settings.

Step 1: Add a new conferencing provider (Zoom or Google Meet)

Web App (desktop)

  1. Click on the gear icon on the left side of the homepage to open Settings

  2. Click on Account Configuration

  3. Under Video Conferencing, click Connect next to either Zoom or GMeet and follow the login procedures

    1. If you see Disconnect, your account is already connected

  4. Click Allow on the Xembly App connection screen


Web App (mobile)

  1. Open a browser and visit the Web App

  2. Click the three bars at the top right of the screen to expand the menu

  3. Click ⚙️ Settings

  4. Click on Account Configuration

  5. Under Video Conferencing, click Connect next to either Zoom or GMeet and follow the login procedures

    1. If you see Disconnect, your account is already connected

  6. Click Allow on the Xembly App connection screen


Extension

  1. Click on the Xembly Extension

  2. Click ⚙️ Settings

  3. Click Account Configuration to expand

  4. Click Connect next to either Zoom or GMeet and follow the login procedures

    1. If you see Disconnect, your account is already connected

  5. Click Allow on the Xembly App connection screen


Step 2: Set a preferred conferencing provider

In Account Configuration, you'll see a dropdown menu under Video Conferencing. Select Zoom or GMeet to set your preference.

Xena will automatically add a video conferencing link from this provider to new meetings you schedule.

Do you use Microsoft Teams? Summary for Teams meetings is live, though you can't set Teams as your preferred conferencing provider.
