Xembly’s goal is to ensure a smooth scheduling process and minimize conflicts for both Xembly and non-Xembly users.

Scheduling in Slack

When scheduling anywhere in Slack, who should be invited is the only information you must include. Note attendees by tagging their Slack handles or including their email addresses.

Other preferences you might include are a meeting title, timeframe, duration, location, and whether you want Summary/notetaking "on."

When engaging with Xena in a direct DM, channel, or group message, simply @Xena with your scheduling request. You can also use "/xena" to finalize the details of your request without team visibility into the conversation with Xena.

A screenshot of a Slack conversation between Eddie Wang and Xena. Eddie tags @Xena by Xembly and says, "schedule a monthly recap meeting with @channel for end of July." Xena replies, "I have scheduled the monthly recap meeting for Monday, July 31st at 11:00 AM with <a href="mailto:ptesh@xembly.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ptesh@xembly.com</a>, <a href="mailto:cgrant@xembly.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">cgrant@xembly.com</a>, <a href="mailto:mlipofsky@xembly.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">mlipofsky@xembly.com</a>, and <a href="mailto:ewang@xembly.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ewang@xembly.com</a>. If you would like to find a different time, please let me know."

Heads up: You can also chat (and schedule) with Xena in the Web App and Extension.

Scheduling with your Scheduling Link

Your Personal Meeting Link allows others to see your availability and schedule time with you. You can find, copy, and personalize your Xembly Scheduling Link inside the Settings section of the Xembly Web App and Extension.
