Anyone with Summary enabled for a meeting (including attendees) can start and stop recording Summary with an easy flip of a switch.
How to turn on Summary for a meeting in progress:

Click on the meeting you'd like to enable Summary for on your calendar view

There are two ways to turn off Summary for a meeting in progress in the Xembly Web App:
Option 1:
Go to the Xembly Web App
Click on the meeting you'd like to disable Summary for on your calendar view

under the Get Meeting Summary toggleHit

to remove the notetaker
Option 2:
Go to the Xembly Web App
Click the red "record" button on the bottom left corner of the screen on desktop and the top right on mobile

You can also remove the notetaker from your meetings by using the chat function in Zoom, GMeet, or Microsoft Teams.
Note: "/xena leave" is currently only supported with Microsoft Teams for Enterprise; personal Microsoft Teams accounts do not have this feature.
After the meeting starts, you and your attendees will be notified that the meeting is being recorded in the chat window of the conference system.
To remove the notetaker, any participant can simply type "/xena leave" in the chat. To resume recording, hit the record
button in the Xembly Web App or Extension.
