How to download a video recording of your meeting
How to download a video recording of your meeting

Instructions for saving video recordings to your local device.

If you enabled Summary for an event or had a Summary shared with you, you can download your video recording via the Xembly Web App or Extension.

To download the recording of your meeting:

Web App (desktop):

  1. Visit web.xembly.com

  2. Open the meeting via the Summaries page or by clicking the event on the calendar view

  3. Click the 'Download' icon on the right side of the page (cloud and down arrow)

  4. Select Download Video. The video will open in a new browser tab

  5. On the bottom right corner of the page, click on the three vertical dots for 'More Options'

  6. Click Download

The video will be saved to your device downloads as a WEBM file. You can share that file with others as you please.

Web App (mobile):

  1. Open a browser and visit web.xembly.com

  2. Open the meeting via the Summaries page or by clicking the event on the calendar view

  3. Click the 'Download' icon on the top of the page (cloud and down arrow)

  4. Select Download Video. The video will open in a new browser tab

  5. Click the blue "Download" text

  6. When the video finishes downloading, click "Open in..."

Share your Summary as you please.

Extension:

  1. Visit calendar.google.com

  2. Select the meeting on your calendar and navigate to the "Summary" tab in the Xembly Extension

    1. Alternatively, access the target Summary by choosing from the “Summaries for Review” in your Extension notifications feed

  3. Click the 'Download' icon (cloud and down arrow)

  4. Select Download Video. The video will open in a new browser tab

  5. On the bottom right corner of the page, click on the three vertical dots for 'More Options'

  6. Click Download

The video will be saved to your device downloads as a WEBM file. You can share that file with others as you please.
